Hey Friends! 👋,
How are you all doing? Today, I read something cool in a book and wanted to share it
with you. The book is called “The Death of Chaos” by L.E. Modesitt Jr. It’s a terrible
name, I know, don’t hold it against me, okay? There’s a sentence that goes like this:
“Love flowers on acceptance of what is, not what is desired.” Let’s talk about what this
might mean! 🌸
Imagine love is like a flower. 🌼 For a flower to grow, it needs good soil, water, and
sunlight. In the same way, love needs the right things to grow, too. This quote tells us
that love grows when we accept people and things as they are, not just how we wish
theycouldbe.
Have you ever wanted a friend to be more like you or wanted something to be different
than it is? We all have wishes and dreams. But sometimes, looking around and seeing
things just how they are is essential. It’s like saying, “Hey, you’re awesome just like this!”
to someone.
For example, your little brother is super chatty when you want quiet. Instead of getting
upset, you can accept this is just how he is and show him, love by listening or playing
together. 💕
Accepting doesn’t mean giving up or not trying to make things better. It’s more like
understanding that things are a certain way right now, and that’s okay. It’s like giving a
big, warm hug to the real world! 🤗
When we accept things as they are, our hearts open up. It’s like we’re giving love the
sunlight and water it needs to grow into a beautiful flower. 🌸
So, let’s try to see the awesome stuff around us just as it is and let our love be like
blooming flowers!
Take care, and keep being amazing! ✨
